Terms & Conditions

The terms governing use of the site and contracting for SmartSky services.

Acceptance By using the SmartSky website or any of our services you agree to these terms. If you are contracting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

Scope of services Services, specifications, scope of work and delivery timelines are defined in the approved quotation or service order. Anything not expressly included in the scope is out of scope and priced separately.

Pricing and invoicing - Prices shown on the website are indicative unless fixed in a quotation or invoice. - Invoices are issued before activation or renewal depending on the service type. - Applicable taxes are added in accordance with prevailing law. - Late payment may lead to service suspension under the payment policy.

Renewals Hosting, domain, email and certificate services operate on renewal cycles. Renewal reminders are sent 30, 15, 7 and 1 day before expiry. Failure to renew on time may result in suspension or loss of the domain under the rules of the relevant registry.

Client responsibilities - Providing accurate, current information, particularly registrant and contact details. - Keeping login credentials confidential and not sharing them. - Complying with the acceptable use policy. - Maintaining your own backup in addition to any we provide.

SmartSky responsibilities - Delivering the service according to the agreed scope and service level. - Notifying you of scheduled work that may affect the service. - Protecting your data in line with the privacy policy.

Limitation of liability We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from the client not maintaining their own backup, nor for interruptions caused by third parties or force majeure. Maximum liability is set out in the service agreement.

Intellectual property Ownership of code and deliverables is defined in the contract. SmartSky's internal tools and components remain ours unless otherwise agreed. Content supplied by the client remains theirs, and they confirm they hold the right to use it.

Termination Either party may terminate under the notice periods and procedures set out in the contract. On termination we provide access details, backups and the domain transfer code under a documented policy.

Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, with disputes resolved as set out in the contract.
