Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Purpose This policy protects our customers, our infrastructure and the reputation of our sending addresses. Compliance is a condition of continued service.

Strictly prohibited - Phishing or impersonating other organisations. - Hosting or distributing malware or intrusion tooling. - Sending unsolicited bulk mail or mailing non-consented lists. - Intrusion, scanning or denial-of-service attempts against any system. - Content infringing others' intellectual property rights. - Content exploiting children, inciting violence, or otherwise unlawful. - Consuming server resources in a way that harms other customers on the same infrastructure.

Email - Mailing lists must be based on documented opt-in, with a clear unsubscribe link. - Forging sender headers is prohibited. - We may apply sending-rate limits to protect the reputation of shared sending addresses.

Resource usage Shared hosting runs on shared resources. Usage that measurably affects other users may require a move to a virtual or dedicated server; you are notified before any action unless the situation is an emergency.

Backups Backups we provide exist for operational recovery and are not a substitute for a copy you keep yourself. Storing a large archive unrelated to running the website is outside the intended use.

Security - On unmanaged plans, keeping applications and plugins updated is the client's responsibility. - Leaving administrative tools exposed without protection is prohibited. - A compromised account may be temporarily suspended to protect other customers while it is remediated.

Enforcement Depending on severity: notice with a period to correct, suspension of the offending service, or immediate suspension in critical cases such as active phishing or malware distribution. We aim to give advance notice wherever that is possible without putting others at risk.
