Refund & Cancellation Policy

General principle Refundability depends on the nature of the service. Services purchased irrevocably from an upstream provider at the moment of activation — domain registration above all — are not refundable once executed.

Domains - Not refundable after registration, renewal or transfer, because the fee is paid to the registry immediately on execution. - A typing mistake in the domain name is not grounds for a refund, which is why we ask you to confirm the name before payment. - Premium domains require a separate confirmation before purchase and are not refundable.

Hosting and email - Cancellation can be requested before the end of the current cycle; the service stops at the end of the paid period. - Any refund for a cycle already in progress is governed by the service agreement and may be pro-rated for the period used. - Setup, migration and technical work already performed are not refundable.

SSL certificates Governed by the issuing authority's policy and generally not refundable once issued.

Projects and professional services Priced in phases with acceptance criteria. A phase that has been delivered and accepted is not refundable; subsequent phases can be stopped under the contract terms.

Duplicate charges or duplicate registration If a duplicate charge or duplicate registration occurs due to a technical fault, the excess amount is refunded in full after verification, without you needing to file a formal claim.

Payment succeeded, provisioning failed If payment succeeds but provisioning fails, the order moves to manual review. We either complete provisioning or refund in full, and you are notified of the outcome.

How to request cancellation or a refund Open a ticket in the client portal or email info@smartsky.com.eg stating the service and the reason. Requests are answered within a reasonable period and processed through the original payment method wherever possible.
